In addition to our 540 Multiple Choice Questions for AQA A Level Economics, APT has recently published a set of 4 Mock Papers for Paper 1 on Markets and Market Failure, which is available for immediate despatch.  This week we are also publishing our set of 4 Mock Papers for Paper 2 on National and International Economy.  

  • These papers have been written by a senior examiner for multiple examination boards and experienced teacher of AS and A Level Economics.
  • The style and format of each paper is based on the sample assessment material produced by AQA for A Level Economics.
  • For questions carrying high marks, detailed example model answers are provided in paragraph form, rather than a list of relevant points anticipated to be raised in the answer.
  • The questions included ensure students gain exam practice across AQA’s 4 A Level assessment objectives and marks are weighted according to AQA’s requirements at A Level.
  • Each question paper contains 2 sections: Section A, which consists of data response questions, with students being required to select a set of questions to answer from a choice of two contexts worth 40 marks; Section B consists of essay questions, with students being required to select one set of 2 questions (essays) to answer from a choice of three sets of 2 questions (essays) worth 40 marks.  Duration is 2 hours, and there are a total of 80 marks available.
