Logo (or ideogram)

A graphic mark / image – for example – a sign or symbol created for a single product or brand, or range of products / brands, or a particular business, to aid and encourage instant recognition and distinguish it from others in the market. They are often used in conjunction with a brand name. Kellogg’s, for example, has developed many different brands, each with its own distinctive brand name and logo which are simple and easily recognised. The most famous of these is Kellogg’s Cornflakes and the cockerel logo. Other examples include: Frosties and Tony the Tiger; Rice Crispies and Snap, Crackle and Pop; Coco Pops with Coco and his gang; Ricicles and Captain Rik; Special K with the distinctive large red K.
